Olaf Hochherz is a sound artist and researcher mostly performing with self build electronic instruments and computer programs. He performs improvised music and develops performance installations. His interest is in the conjunction of the instability, self-generation, and associative capacity of sounds. His goal is not to control a technical aperture but to create an associative field. For him sounds have their own life that has to be kept alive. He is interested in the effect of acoustic activity, the relation between the surrounding environment and instruments, between abstract sounds and associations, between electrical and other worlds. 

Xu Cheng is a sound artist based in Shanghai. Cheng preforming with various instruments and electronics. Apart from the ontology of sound, Cheng is also interested in the interaction between sound and social spaces and its behaviors and manifestations. Cheng works with varied forms of sound art: installations, experimental music, performances, and theatre.

TABLE POND是徐程与Olaf Hochherz在某个早餐后于餐桌上的合成器即兴合作录音。Olaf使用的是他在SupperCollider软体里建立的“半动物合成器”系统，徐程使用自制的电子乐器“Sirenphone"。而后的两段则是他们各自在上海的合成器即兴独奏。
